Student/Parent Technology Tutorials

RSD's Core 4 learning platforms are designed to help students navigate and excel in online learning. These training tutorials are aimed at helping students and their families learn about these platforms so they can use them successfully and focus on learning.

How To Access The Tutorials

All our tutorials are accessed through the Canvas learning management system. There are two ways students and parents/guardians can view them.

New Canvas User
Existing Canvas User

New Canvas User

If you do not yet have an account and your student doesn’t have access to Canvas yet, click on the links to the tutorials below for New Canvas Users and follow the directions below.

Enter your information and select “I am a new user.”
Click on the “Enroll” button on the right-hand side of the screen.
Click on “Go to the Course” on the right-hand side of the screen to enter the course.

Existing Canvas User

If you already have a student or parent/guardian observer account, click on the links for Existing Canvas Users and you should be able to click on the “Enroll” button and enroll in the course.
