Good news! In order to allow more students to participate in art education LMS Art Club will hold two sessions this year. Admission will be open to all students who are in good standing at LMS. We plan on doing many technical and exciting art projects.

Dungeons & Dragons (D&D) is a co-operative roleplaying game where everyone works together to create a fun story and go on an interesting adventure. Each player creates their own character which embarks on a quest in an imaginary setting. The Dungeon Master is the referee and storyteller. The characters interact with the setting’s inhabitants, and each other. They solve problems, battle monsters, and find treasure. They earn experience points in order to level up their character. Go on an adventure, have fun, meet new people and get involved!

The Libby Math Club will be a place for ALL students who love math to meet every week, collaborate with peers, work on practice problems, extend their math skills, and compete in local competitions!

Meetings will be every Thursday from 2:30-4 and we will compete in several competitions throughout the year.

In this club, we believe in equality and acceptance and our meetings reflect that! During meetings, we talk about social issues, middle school appropriate topics regarding those issues, and work to make our school more inclusive for all students. This club is for ALL students who want and need a fun space to hang out and learn about LGBTQIA+ happenings!

This club is reserved for 8th graders who have been invited by Mrs. Maiuri. Please only register for this club if you have been invited by Mrs. Maiuri.

Where Everyone Belongs (WEB) is an orientation program that welcomes in our 6th graders so that they get off to a great start at Leona Libby Middle School. You, as a WEB Leader, would play a crucial role because you can share what you’ve learned through the years you’ve been here. Along with other 8th graders, you will be trained in how to work with incoming 6th graders. You and a partner will have a small group of about ten 6th graders that you will guide, mentor, and lead through the year.

Have you ever thought about writing your own novel? Do you enjoy journaling or even taking nature walks to inspire your own poetry? Or do you think that writer's block is simply a cube in which you write essays? If you answered "yes" to any of these questions, there's a new club at Libby JUST FOR YOU: Writing Club!

At Writing Club, we help writers learn that writing can be fun! We will have silly creative writing prompts, poetry/storytelling competitions, and our ultimate year-long goal is to write a novel together with every member of the club! Join us "WRITE" away!

The Yearbook Club is a school organization where students collaborate to create the school’s annual yearbook. Members are responsible for designing the layout, taking or selecting photographs, writing captions, and documenting key events throughout the school year. The club gives students hands-on experience in photography, journalism, graphic design, and editing, while also fostering teamwork and creativity. It often works on tight deadlines and plays a crucial role in preserving memories of the academic year for the student body.
